John Scholl, Enrolled Agent
John is the owner of Granite Mountain Tax Service and a third generation tax preparer. John's grandfather, Adrian, was a captain in the San Diego Fire Department and began his tax preparer career shortly before retiring in the late 1960's. Adrian continued to prepare taxes until the late 1980's when he sold his practice to his daughters Teri and Adrianna (John's mom).  

John has been preparing taxes for 16 years and has a variety of experience in both individual and business returns. John has earned his designation as an enrolled agent (EA) which allows him to practice before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). John is a long-time Rotarian and enjoys working on home improvement projects.








Adrianna Burnett, Assistant
Adrianna is responsible for client interaction and scheduling. She is a former tax preparer and healthcare services director.  During the off season, she enjoys gardening in desert landscapes and participating in life-long learning classes. 








Mardi Read, 2025 Annual Filing Season Program Completer, Assistant
Mardi assists in back office tasks such as tax return checking and assembly and document management. She has completed the education requirements for tax preparation for the 2025 Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP). During the off season, she assists with marketing and optimization of the business. She is a former K-12 educator and administrator and enjoys traveling.
